EconMin nominee Varga to increase spending on tourism development

Varga said he would continue efforts started in 2010 to make tourism a sector that can contribute to economic growth and create new jobs.
Two important targets of the government programme are to cut public debt and increase employment. Tourism development fits well these targets and should in any case receive sufficient support to guarantee the smooth operation of the sector, he said.
The committee supported Varga's appointment with 14 votes in favour and 3 against.
