Hungary ready with response to European Commission, says Orban

Hungary has drafted its letter of response to the European Commission in connection with the infringement procedure launched against the country, and the document will be sent on Friday, Prime Minister Viktor Orban told public radio's morning new magazine.
On the topic of the retirement of judges, Orban said the government had convincingly shown that Hungary is undergoing a general transformation of its pension system which applied to everyone, and judges were not exempt.
He said the government stood ready to propose the necessary changes to the laws in question to parliament as soon as Hungary received an answer from Brussels.
