The anniversary run has been held annually since 2014 when a 10-km run was held. This year’s event will start from the Margaret Island Athletics Centre at 10am on May 8 and the route will pass by the Vigszinhaz theatre, the Csaszar and Lukacs spas and the Obuda Museum, facilities that received major EU support over the past period. No more than 4,000 registrations will be accepted for the free run, the organisers said.
The Athletics Centre will host events starting at 11am, including concerts, children events, quizzes about the EU and games.
